Baked Donut

hmmm. . . this is a hamburger baked donut from "donat bakar stall" . I bought this some weeks ago, and they had sooo many variants. Most of them were sweet, like the usual donut, so i decided to take this one. Actually it was just like other donuts, they just make another version to eat donut, which is by baking it 1st. But the taste, absolutely just like the others.

About this taste, hmmm. . .nothing special. They also used an instant ham (i wish they made it thicker like in Mr. Burger). About the price, its quite cheap only 5.000 rupiahs.

SAPO-SAPO : Capcay Rice

This is my favorite dish whenever i go to mall and eat in food court. U can find it in many mall, such as in Solo,  SGM and Solo Square. Capcay Rice by Sapo-Sapo. Actually it was my mom who ordered this food at the 1st time. I didnt feel interested when the 1st time i heard its name, i thought it was just like the usual cap cay that i found on street stall. Weeewww. . .but i was absolutely wrong :D. All combination was good for my taste. Fresh vegies, light seasonings, and the rice. . .they fried it 1st with butter and egg. Simple but pefect for me :D . Since then, i always order this dish whenever i wanna eat in sapo-sapo. . . recommended ! :D
Oh, about the price, it is 17.000 rupiahs. Maybe a lil bit expensive, but the portion is also bigggg....haha. . .try it !

yuuummmmm yuuummmm :D oooh, i wanna go there right now :s

Aishiteru Japanese Stall

I went to this stall some weeks ago with my friend for dinner. It is located in Solo, on Slamet Riyadi Street, near the Sriwedari Stadium. We ordered two meals there, Chicken Teppan and also Chicken Donburri, also with 2 glasses of Lemonade drink.

Chicken Teppan with sesame, salad, rice and also miso soup (if i am not mistaken)

For a street stall, actually their foods are a lil bit expensive. For that Chicken teppan, i must pay for 14.000 rupiahs. And the Donburri was 15.000 rupiahs. But if we see the packet, actually it's not that expensive. The portion is quite big, and also they gave us miso soup for appetizer.

Chicken Donburri

About the taste, for me its quite good (even we prepared to go there again next time. .lol) . I also appreciate the miso soup, a lil bit salty, but idk what they put on it. . salty but so guud. Just like when we eat instant noodle, its salty, but so good. . haha. They put a tofu and some slice of carrot. My friend said that her donburri was good also, but they put a lil bit too much sauce on the rice, so when the rice left a little, it felt too sweet. Maybe they should put more rice, or reduce the sauce. And about the cabbage salad, its good. Not too special, but from fresh vegetables. Then about the drink, wew, need more iceeeee !! Cause they used warm water when served it for us, so if the ice blocks were less, it would melt faster n we got like a plain water only :s.

Then just go there, its a good place :p

Onion Ring

The first time i knew aboit this food was when i ate in Mc Donal's . They had a very nice onion rings, then i tried to make my own version. And it is good also, a lil bit sweet and chrispy. I ate with a chilli sauce, but if you want, u can use other sauces, such as mayonaise or maybe you can give the onion with some flavor powders. This recipe is almost same with the Chrispy mushrooms. And again a big sorry, i use phone camera, so the pic quality isnt that clear.

Ingredients :
1) 3 pieces of onion, peeled and cut into circular (ring form).
2) 1 teaspoon coriander
3) 3 cloves garlic.
4) 1 clove Shallot
5) Salt
6) Mix Wheat flour and rice flour (+ - 200gr)

Dirrections :
1) Mash the Garlic, onion, coriander, and salt.
2) Put in a bowl, give some water. Enter sliced onions
3) Let it soak a bit, insert it into flour that has been given some salt. Or you can dirrectly mixed them together in that bowl.
4) Prepare the pan with some oil.
5) Fry it until done

It will taste best when still hot. Just try it ^^'
and btw, i am an amatir cook, so i dont use complicated ingredients n mostly will taste simpler. . haha.

Spaghetti with Water Spinach Sauce

I was bored with the usual spaghetti, so i tried to make a new combination. Fyi, i usually make a very base spaghetti, with real tomatoes and some grilled meats or sausages. And now i tried to combine it with vegetables. Here i used water spinach as the sauce complement.

Ingredients :
1 box of spaghetti (la fonte)
1 bunch of water spinach (cut)
3 beef sausages (slice into 10 per each)
10 meatballs (slice into 4 per each)
7 red tomatoes (chopped)
1 big onion (chopped)
3 garlic (crushed)
a half teaspoon black pepper powder
Chili sauce
Salt

Dirrection :
1. Boil the spaghetti in a water. Give some oil and salt. Stir and wait around 10 minutes. Dont overcooked. When done, put in a bowl and discard the water
2. Prepare a pan, put some oil. Fry the onion and garlic. Then put the tomatoes.
3. Add the salt, chili sauce, black pepper.
4. Wait a minute then put the sausages and meatballs into the pan, after that add the water spinach.
5. When the vegetables looks wilted, insert the pasta.
6. Stir it until all mixed and cooked well
7. Switch off the stove, serve in a plate.

btw, u can add some sugar if want it a lil bit sweety

sorry for not a good pics quality cause i use phone. .hehe

Home Made Ice Cream

Again, late review :D . This Ice Cream Cafe is called as "Frozen". It is on Gadjah Mada Street, Solo, near the Salimah Fashion Boutique and in front of Lombok Ijo Restaurant. It is a small cafe. I came to this cafe after back from Jakarta 3 years ago, they've just opened for some days that time. I went there with my sister and we ordered 2 types of ice creams. I ordered Pancake Ice Cream, and she ordered Ice Cream Squaze. .i guess. . haha.

looks yummy right? :D i love the toppings here, with blueberry sauce, peanuts, some raisins also with the strawberry and vanila flavors !! :D

hmm. . .so simple, but actually idk the right name for this ice cream. But the blue water, that was blue fanta.

For me, the ice cream flavor was just like my taste, so it was great, not a really milky, soft and not too sweet :D . Btw, they gave us cold water also as the side drink. About the price, when we went there, they were having a promo, so we got 25 % discount. Each of them was around 12.500 rupiahs, but if u go there now, maybe the price is higher :p. Ya, it is a lil bit expensive for solo cause it is a home made ice cream. But if we compare it with the taste, i guess its not a big problem :D

They also have a cozy place and provide us with some magazines and comics, so if u go there and chat with your friends, that place is comfortable, although it is small.

i really enjoyed it :p . .great :D

Hot Spicy Ramen

It was my first time to eat Ramen !! :D . I visited Jakarta 3 years ago (very late review btw) and ate this ramen in Gokana Ramen and Teppan's, Atrium Plaza. That time i was going somewhere and when i wanted to go back to my dorm, my friend texted me and asked to meet in Atrium Plaza. Because i reached that place earlier than them, i decided to have some windows shopping. But yeah, i finally bought a dress!! haha. After that, i passed by a ramen restaurant, and i was so curious cause i saw a standing banner in front of it. It's written that they have some types of ramens. Wew, i felt like drooling :D. . then i just straightly entered that restaurant :D. Then i sat and asked for menu book. I ordered a spicy beef ramen and a strawberry juice, sounded so Yummmmmy. But then the waitress asked bout the level (hmm. . idk if it had some spicy level), and i said i wanted the most spicy. Bad decission. . .T__T. . here is the pic

i almost forgot to take the pic :p

look at the noodle, some black things on the surface, thats the chilly pepper.

Hmm. .it was so spicy for them who wanted to taste it for the 1st time. I should order the usual spicy one, so i could taste it well. When it was just too spicy, nothing else that we could taste except the hot thing only T__T . What i can say about this ramen, the noodle was a lil bit overcooked, but the portion was big :D . The soup itself, hmm. . .not a rich one, but it was still good :D . And the juice, for them who dont like much about sweet thing, i guess it was too much syrup then it became too sweet . About the price, it was quite cheap for jakarta :D. around 20.000 rupiahs for the ramen, and the juice, i forgot . . haha, but it was less than 15.000 rupiah. The place was good also,a lil bit noisy cause many people were eating also when i came. But soo japanese style.

Btw. .lately ive just found that if they have a contest for them who could eat that most spicy ramen in 20 minutes, they will get a voucher. But idk, maybe now the promo isnt be held anymore :D . just find out your self :p
yummm yuummm . . The spoon and the bowl was so big . . lol
